Apple has now made available to pre-order its M2 13-inch MacBook Pro


The brand new M2 Apple Silicon 13-inch MacBook Pro is currently available for pre-ordering, and the company anticipates that the first orders will be delivered on June 24.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro, which was announced at Apple’s WWDC 2022 keynote, is now available for pre-order on Apple’s website. In addition to the standard 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM, it may be configured with up to 24GB of RAM.

Custom settings do not appear to be available at this time. As soon as we tried to pick one, we were told that it was “temporarily unavailable.”

Macbook Pro 13-inch users will benefit from the new M2 chip, which Apple describes as a “breakthrough capability” that builds on the groundbreaking capabilities of the previous generation’s M1 chip.

The new MacBook Pro sports an M2 chip with an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, which is an improvement over the previous iteration. Up to 24GB of unified memory is supported, which is an increase over the previous limit.

Users who need to work with the Apple video standard will like the 13-inch MacBook Pro’s ProRes encoding and decoding capabilities. With a battery life of up to 20 hours on a single charge, it is the longest-lasting Apple portable laptop.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro hasn’t altered much from its predecessor except for those two capabilities. The new MacBook Pro’s considerable increases are due to the M2 chip. with an incremental upgrade to the M1 processor that provides real-world performance.

 It hasn’t received any of the big redesigns or new features of the new M2-equipped MacBook Air, which is not launching at the same time as the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

It is also claimed that Apple’s new MacBook Pro is made using 100% recycled rare earth elements in the magnets of its casing and 100% recycled tin in the solder of its main logic board.

The starting price for the 13-inch MacBook Pro is $1,299, or $1,199 for students and teachers. You can choose from a variety of colours, including silver and space grey.

The new MacBook Pro will soon be available via third-party resellers, who normally provide better prices, as Apple begins taking preorders for the device.
