Apple implanted its sixth beta of tvOS 16 to developers

Following the seeding of the fifth beta of tvOS 16 to developers one week ago, Apple today made available to them the sixth beta of an impending tvOS 16 update for testing reasons.

Developers can download the latest tvOS 16 beta by installing a profile using Xcode on the Apple TV.

Cross-device connectivity in tvOS 16 enables developers to combine Apple TV apps with those for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch to create fresh TV experiences. A shared keychain has been included by Apple to enhance the functionality of multiple user profiles in tvOS 16 so that users won’t have to sign in and select a profile before using an Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app for tvOS 16 now supports HDR10+, and it has expanded game controller support to include the Nintendo Joy-Cons and Pro Controller. With the release of tvOS 16, the Apple TV will adopt Matter, a future standard that will increase the compatibility of different manufacturers’ smart home products.
