A recent report indicates that Apple will present their brand-new M2 Apple Silicon CPU as well as an M2 MacBook Air at their Worldwide Developer Conference in June.
The story that contains the news was written by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, and you can read what he has to say about the new MacBook Air down below.
If there’s any hardware announced at WWDC, it’ll almost certainly be a Mac. Macworld has been eagerly anticipating the unveiling of the new MacBook Air with M2 CPUs. Developers indicate that Apple staff are increasingly using new MacBook Airs with their apps, despite the recent supply chain crisis caused by COVID-related closures in China. If that’s the case, Apple’s next Mac isn’t too far away.
There is speculation about a new, larger iMac, the iMac Pro, although this is anticipated to ship later in the year and no other new hardware has been announced for WWDC 2022 next month.
We don’t expect Apple’s new AR or VR headsets to be announced at WWDC, so we may have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on those items.
The Apple Worldwide Developer Conference will take place between June 6 and June 10, and we cannot wait to find out just what Apple has in store for the event itself.
