Apple may restore its HomePod Mini along with its modern superior layout

In its larger push into the home device market, which includes releasing an improved version of the full-sized HomePod in the first quarter of 2023, Apple is allegedly considering updating the HomePod tiny, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Gurman claims that Apple is thinking about updating the HomePod mini, which was unveiled in October 2020, in his most recent Power On newsletter. Gurman says there won’t likely be anything “super-impressive” in a potential upgrade but doesn’t go into specifics.

Following its discontinuation in March 2021, Apple intends to bring back the first full-sized HomePod, as has been previously reported. According to rumors, the revised HomePod will include an upgraded S8 CPU and perhaps a new multi-touch display on top.

According to Gurman, the new full-sized HomePod will likely be released in the first half of 2023, which is in keeping with the schedule provided by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Gurman has previously stated that Apple is developing a number of new devices for the Home, in addition to an improved HomePod small and a new full-sized HomePod. HomePod, a gadget that combines a speaker, Apple TV features, and a FaceTime camera into one unit, is considered the most ambitious project currently under development.

Apple is also developing a kitchen-specific gadget that combines an iPad with a speaker that is attached to a robotic arm. At least one of these two home goods, according to Gurman, should go on sale by the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.
