Apple Reality Pro is the first of three AR/VR headset devices that are coming soon

Mark Gurman says Apple is developing at least three augmented reality and virtual reality headsets, the first of which is expected to debut under the moniker “Apple Reality Pro.”

Gurman stated that there are at least three Apple headsets actively under development that he is aware of, with the codes “N301,” “N602,” and “N421” in the most recent issue of his “Power On” newsletter.

Gurman predicts that the first of these gadgets, N301, will be known as “Apple Reality Pro.” The company’s alleged “high-end rival” to Meta’s planned Quest Pro headset is Apple Reality Pro. The N602 is said to be the first Apple Reality Pro headset replacement and could be less expensive. Apple’s long-rumored augmented reality glasses product, the N421, may not be released for some time, according to Gurman.

Gurman’s most recent revelation provides the first verifiable clue as to what Apple’s initial headset product would be called. It is important to note that the moniker “Reality Pro” corresponds with Apple’s most recent trademark applications. According to a report, the phrases “Reality Processor,” “Reality Pro,” and “Reality One,” among others, are thought to be connected to Apple’s future headset gadgets.

Apple intends to introduce its first headset as early as January of next year, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It may include features like two 4K micro-OLED screens, 15 optical modules, two primary processors, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, eye tracking, object tracking, and hand gesture controls. Although the device’s exact price is still unknown, some reports suggest that it could cost around three thousand dollars.
