Apple reportedly designed the iPhone 14 the same way as the iPhone 13

Why are you interested in getting the iPhone 14? The base iPhone 14 appears to look exactly like the iPhone 13 in these newly discovered renders by MySmartPrice. Unfortunately, this means you’ll have to purchase the Pro models.

MySmartPrice has provided us with some alleged CAD renderings of the base iPhone 14 to go along with the iPhone 14 Pro renderings that we saw earlier this week.. It’s the display notch that stands out first. This is true: there is no “pill plus hole” design on the base iPhone 14.

The iPhone 13’s camera bump on the back has the exact same shape. Having a thicker glass frame around it is merely a minor change. In the end, it appears the rumour mill was wrong about recessed cameras. Nonetheless, nothing is set in stone here.

The only other noticeable change is that Apple appears to have added more “lines” to the iPhone 14. Naturally, those are 5G antennas, so having more is a positive thing.

According to rumours, the iPhone 14 will have the same 6.1-inch screen as the iPhone 12 and 13 models. Expect to see an iPhone 14 Max with the same design, but with a larger 6.7-inch screen, as the only change.

So, this year’s iPhone models will be more straightforward to choose from. What do you think about the new design, more cameras, a better screen with ProMotion, and the new A16 Bionic chip?

That means you’ll have to buy the iPhone 14 Pro if that’s the case. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a new iPhone to replace an older one, the iPhone 14’s base model should be sufficient.
