As numerous reports from the previous year have indicated, Apple is about to introduce three new Apple Watch models.

The Apple Watch Series 7 has been available for about a year. Its successor, the Apple Watch Series 8, is anticipated to be launched next month, despite the fact that it shipped later than normal due to delays. As with the Series 7, the Apple Watch Series 8 is anticipated to come in the same 41mm and 44mm casing sizes, keeping Apple’s tradition of providing two sizes for the Apple Watch lineup.

The company is expected to release an even larger Apple Watch model this year, which might displace the Apple Watch Edition. The device is anticipated to have a five-to-seven-percent larger display with additional fitness metrics shown on it. The predicted new design of the device, which could have a flat display and a ruggedized titanium alloy case, will give it a drastically different appearance.

It might have a bigger battery because of its bigger size, allowing for longer workout sessions. Although a larger battery is not anticipated for the other two Apple Watch Series 8 models, a Low Power Mode might be available.

The two standard Series 8 models are anticipated to include an improved chip, software updates, and additional health monitoring features owing to a body temperature sensor, even though they are believed to look similar to the Apple Watch Series 7 in terms of style.

Apple is anticipated to introduce a new Apple Watch SE in addition to the conventional 41mm and 45mm Apple Watch Series 8 and a new high-end Apple Watch model. In 2020, the Apple Watch SE made its debut as a reasonably priced choice for buyers. According to sources like Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple Watch SE will be replaced by a second-generation model alongside the Apple Watch Series 8 next month as it approaches two years since its debut.

The “S8” processor may be present in the upcoming Apple Watch SE, according to Gurman, despite little else being known about it. According to rumors, the S8 chip will have the same features as the S6 and S7 chips, which may help to explain why Apple would upgrade the Apple Watch SE to its most recent processor. In fact, since all chips that are more recent than the Apple Watch SE’s present processor are essentially the same, whether it has the S6, S7, or S8-all of which give a little performance gain over the S5-will not matter significantly.

Wait till the new Apple Watch SE is released next month if you’re searching for a less expensive Apple Watch, because it will likely include some more features and enhancements and nearly certainly support the most recent version of watchOS for longer.

Therefore, regardless of which Apple Watch model a consumer is considering, they should now wait for new models to come as the entire Apple Watch portfolio is scheduled to be updated in a couple of weeks.
