Apple’s rumored smartwatch may have a fresh look with squared-off edges, according to rumors surrounding the device. However, a recent leak implies that the Apple Watch Series 8 may resemble the Series 7 quite a bit.

The information was leaked by Twitter user ShrimpApplePro, who posted a picture of what appears to be the upcoming Apple Watch. The person asserts in a later tweet in the discussion that the Apple Watch Series 8 will feature the same design as the Series 7 and won’t include any new sensors.

According to the pictures, the rotating crown will still be present on the side of the watch, along with a button and a microphone in the middle.

The source claims that the watch won’t come in a titanium version; instead, we’ll have midnight, starlight, product (RED), and silver varieties in the aluminium range, as well as silver and graphite colours in the stainless steel line.

Additionally, according to the user, the Watch 8 will be compatible with more traditional bands and straps and come in sizes 41mm and 45mm. Additionally, we learn that the Watch 8 will likely ship on schedule in September along with the iPhone 14-series. The Watch 8 is scheduled to enter full production later this month.

A new box package that appears to be aimed at security is also mentioned in the report. According to rumors, the Apple Watch Series 8 box will have a stronger adhesive seal that, if attempted to close an opened package again, may cause damage to the box.
