Apple unveiled new 35W power adapters with dual USB-C ports at WWDC 2022, and they’re now available for purchase, according to 9to5Mac. There are normal and small versions of the adapters that cost $59 in the United States.
New MacBook Airs with an M2 processor and 512GB of storage or more will come pre-loaded with a small version of the adapter, although it may be purchased separately through Apple.com and the Apple Store app for an additional fee. According to Apple, the new MacBook Air will be available by the end of next month.
There are two adapters with folding prongs that can be used to charge several devices at the same time. Apple advises using the adapters with the new MacBook Air, but they are also compatible with other Apple devices, including the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and the AirPods.
Only certain countries, including the United States of America, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand, are able to purchase the compact adapter.
Apple has not yet begun taking orders for the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable in Starlight, Midnight, or Space Gray and has no plans to do so in the near future.
