In the film, slow motion (commonly referred to as slo-mo or slow-mo) refers to the appearance that time is slowing down. The invention of the steam engine was attributed to an Austrian priest, August Munger, at the beginning of the 20th century.
Clip speed is a tool that lets you playback video clips faster or slower than their original speed in post-production. High-speed cameras can make this possible, and then 30 frames per second is a good rate to playback the video.

How To Slow Down A Video On iPhone Through Applications?
To download existing videos from your iPhone by the “iPhone by” library, you just have to rely on the apps listed below when you import existing videos from your iPhone’s camera.
1. By Using Slow Fast Slow:
Its greatest strength is simplicity, and that’s what makes Slow Fast Slow stand out. There is only one speed to choose from, but it’s very useful videos (slowing them down or speeding them up) and it is extremely easy to use.
After selecting the video to edit, you move the indicators on the timeline and specify which scenes to edit and how.
Besides being 100% free, the application includes no watermarks and no in-app purchases: in the lower-left corner, there is a button that, when pressed, takes you to the developer’s store where you can purchase laptops, tablet holders, and other accessories.
Thus, in order to download Slow Fast Slow on your iPhone, you will need to visit the corresponding page at the App Store, click Get / Install, and then verify your identity using your Apple ID passcode, your facial identification or touch.
When you’ve done that, launch the application (by pressing the button Opens or its icon on the home screen), bypass the splash screen and tap Let’s go. You can now use it.
In the lower center, press the plus sign (+) to grant access to the gallery iPhone and select the video allowing slow motion. This gives access to videos accompanied by slow-motion or along with all other videos in the gallery.
Once you have imported the video, you can select the sequences you want to pause and then use the white arrows in the chronology at the bottom to indicate how much to pause. To preview the final result, press the button in the upper left after moving the indicators down. The slower the video is, the lower the indicator will go.
If you would like to add a new indicator, so the sequence can be better laid out, keep your finger near the point on the chronology you wish to add the item and tap the Add point button.
You must, however, erase all of the indicators except those at the beginning and end of the video if you want the whole video to be slowed down. You can achieve this by performing a prolonged touch on each indicator to remove and selecting the Delete item from the menu that appears.
In addition to slowing down the video, you may also want to cut it. If that is the case, you can move the markers to the left and right margins of the timeline to designate the new start and endpoints.
If you wish to save the video in its original resolution in the Photos app, select Original resolution from the menu that opens when you click the share icon (the square with an arrow inside) located in the upper right corner of the timeline.
Optionally you can select Square (cropped), which will save the video in a square format with cropped edges, or Square (uncut), which will save the video in a square format with an intact edge.
2. By Using iMovie:
You probably already have it installed on your iPhone, so I don’t think it needs an introduction. Apple’s video editor has become the ‘standard’ for both iPhone and iPad because of its compatibility.
Considering that it is a video editing software, it might seem like a “hype” solution for something as simple as slowing down videos. However, it is very effective and it is 100% free, so why not use it?
Regardless of how you want to slow down the video with iMovie on iPhone, open the app. choose Images by clicking the box and choose New Project.
By checking the relative miniature checkbox you can now choose the video to slow down, if necessary. In order to access the actual iMovie editor, click the Create movie button at the bottom.
In order to slow down only some material in the video and keep the others intact, start slowing the video by moving the indicator in the chronology; tap miniature in the video, tap scissors in the bottom left, and then tap Divide.
In the chronology, move the indicator at the end of the scene to slow down the timeline. Then repeat the above steps. Once you have selected the thumbnail of the sequence you want to slow down, you can play the chronograph present in the menu below and adjust the speed in the left lower corner.
You can adjust the speed of the video by selecting the thumbnail for the entire movie in chronology, calling the icon chronograph, and adjusting it as we explained above.
Press the button below the player to preview the final result. The video can, however, be exported to the iPhone gallery by first selecting the item final (top left) followed by the share icon (the square with the arrow inside) and selecting Save video in the menu that appears. Finally, select the resolution in which you want to save the video.
Slowing Down A Video With Other iPhone Apps
There are numerous applications that can be used to slow down videos on iPhone, and the ones I mention are among the best; however, they do not stand alone.
How To Make A Slow Down Video On iPhone Without Any Application?
Newer iPhone models support AI-enhanced slow-motion video: you can therefore record videos at a slower speed, allowing you to appreciate each moment with greater precision (since more frames per second are captured).
The easiest way to make use of this feature is to open the application Camera on your iPhone and select the item SLOMO from the options above the shutter/record button. After you do that, just record normally.
You can adjust the frame rate of slow-motion videos in the latest versions of iOS with a special indicator at the top right of the Camera app. You can also do this by going to the app configurations (the gear icon on the home screen) and then to section Camera> Record Slow Motion.
The new iPhone models allow you to make slow-motion videos in 1080p and at 120 or 240 frames per second. The more frames per second there are, the more memory the video will consume.
The speed of slow-motion videos can be adjusted after they are recorded, and if desired only specific segments can have the Slo-Mo effect. Selecting slow-motion videos is all it takes to do this. Press the Edit button on the top right of the gallery, and you will see a timeline with white markers. Check out my slow-motion tutorial for more details.
