International Day of Yoga will see Apple launching an Apple Watch challenge

The International Day of Yoga, which falls on June 21, is just a few days away. It’s been rumoured that Apple has scheduled an Apple Watch Activity Challenge for today, requiring you to complete at least a 20-minute yoga workout on the day dedicated to the world’s oldest form of physical training.

In order to successfully complete the challenge, you will need to record your time using an application that contributes workouts to Apple Health.

In order to unlock your virtual achievement on your iPhone, Apple Watch, and Messages app, you must complete the challenge successfully. And that’s not all. You’ll also have access to premium stickers for FaceTime, Messages, and more.

If you’re looking for a yoga workout, Apple Fitness+ is a great option if you have a subscription. Apple’s fitness app features yoga as a workout option. For those who already have some yoga experience, you may also use an app that integrates with Apple Health and Apple’s Fitness app to log their time spent practicing.

There will be a notification sent to Apple Watches a few days before the challenge officially begins.

Naturally, the goal of the yoga challenge isn’t only about earning stickers and unlocking achievements. These Apple Watch Activity Challenges encourage you to use the smartwatch for fitness and provide you with the opportunity to try out various activities. Ultimately, it’s all about you becoming a better version of yourself, and the Apple Watch is there to help you get there.
