The iTunes Pass has been axed by Apple. The Apple Account Card is here to stay! For iOS 15.5 users, the new Wallet functionality has been put out and users will see the new Apple Account Card option instead of the outdated iTunes Pass option, according to 9to5Mac.
It is important to note that the Apple Account Card replaces the iTunes Pass, yet retains the same functionality. With it, you may get your hands on a variety of digital content such as music, movies, apps, and more.
The Apple Account Card, on the other hand, is a lot more user-friendly than the previous system. In an Apple retail store, for example, you can just use Apple Pay to complete your transaction instead of showing the retailer a QR code. Apple Account Cards are also simpler to set up than iTunes Passes. The “+” button in the Wallet app can be used to add a new Apple account.
Your Apple ID may not have enough money to display that information. Open the App Store app on your iPhone and tap on your profile photo in the upper right corner to see your current balance. Your account balance will be displayed next to your name if you have any money in your account. Without seeing anything, you’re out of kilter.
Apple’s decision to rebrand its iTunes Pass is understandable, given the company’s trend away from the iTunes name in recent years. There was speculation in April that Apple was working on replacing its iTunes Pass with a new version of the Apple Pay card, which was introduced in the iOS 15.5 beta.
