Rugged Apple Watch Pro with titanium body will be unveiled by Apple in three new models

Mark Gurman, an analyst at Bloomberg, predicts that Apple will release three new watches in 2018, including the Apple Watch 8, an improved version of the Apple Watch SE, and a rugged Apple Watch Pro.

For the first time since 2018, according to GSM Arena, the Apple Watch Pro has received a new design. That being said, its rectangular shape (rather than a circular one) and flat sides (as some hypotheses state) make it less unique than it might appear.

However, the display is expected to be 7 percent larger than the 1.9″ LCD on the Watch 7 45mm, making it 7 percent larger than the current model.

A titanium body and a shatter-resistant display are also included in the new watch’s design, making it more durable than other watches. Due to its larger size, it is expected to have more battery capacity. A temperature sensor is expected to be included in the Watch Pro, according to Gurman.

The company is currently working on a blood pressure sensor as well as a glucose monitor for the subsequent iterations, which are expected to be released around the year 2025. (approaching the end of this decade), according to a study from GSM Arena.

The rugged Apple Watch Pro is estimated to retail for USD900. With the arrival of the Pro watch, Apple’s pricey Device Edition series may come to an end. The analyst warns that the Pro may be too large for certain Apple Watch customers.
