Sessions for Apple Camp 2022 taking place around the world are now open for registration

Apple has announced that it will once again offer free community programming at its retail stores located all around the world. Apple Camp is making a comeback this summer, and it will be offering free programs to kids and their families at Apple Stores from June 20 through August 31.

Since its inception in 1996, the Apple Camp program has been offering two-hour options. This workshop gives participants the opportunity to produce a digital comic book about “preserving and celebrating the earth.”

This year, we’re looking forward to having our campers and their families join us for Apple Camp and let their creative juices flow as they learn from our staff and one another. In our stores around the world for the past 20 years, we’ve hosted these extraordinary events that have brought people together to learn and connect.

The new Apple Camp activity, Art Lab: Comic Book Adventure with Your Family, will be led by creative professionals. Using an iPad Pro, kids between the ages of 8 and 12 can create their own comic books by drawing and adding stickers.

Campers and their families will use an iPad to explore their surroundings in search of ideas after first coming up with a story about the importance of preserving the environment.

Apple will provide the iPads for the sessions, which will take place both indoors and outside. The event provides parents and children with the opportunity to interact with local Apple professionals while also learning something new. Apple Camp also provides a Camp Field Guide with 20 iPad activities that may be completed at home.
