Teachers are celebrated for the back-to-school season with a new Apple TV+ special starring Peanuts

Apple TV+ has released a trailer for “Lucy’s School,” a new “Peanuts” special honoring teachers, which will premiere on August 12th on the streaming service.

“Lucy’s School” has added a back-to-school special to the increasing array of seasonal “Peanuts” features. When the Peanuts gang is worried about going back to school in the fall, Lucy is inspired to create her own school.

The trailer reveals that being a teacher isn’t a simple job, with Lucy developing an understanding of how hard teachers work. The show is described by Apple as a love letter to teachers and an appreciation of the impact a teacher can have on a youngster.

This special will be available among the other holiday-themed “Peanuts” episodes that are available on Apple TV+, such as “For Auld Lang Syne” and “To Mom (And Dad), With Love.”

Lucy’s School will debut on Apple TV+ on August 12 in conjunction with the second season of “The Snoopy Show.” Customers can pay $4.99 a month for access to the streaming service, or they can get it as part of the Apple One subscription service.
