The Disco Ball Emoji has been released by Apple for the iPhone

With the release of Apple’s iOS 15.4 beta, iPhone users can expect to see a disco ball emoji added to the keyboard.

New features and enhancements were added to the game on Monday, March 14, when the latest update was released. A masked face unlock and AirTag security updates are among the new features included in these updates.

As well as a disco ball, a melting face, a nest, crutches, and a lotus flower were among the new emojis introduced.

Since it was announced in July 2021 that the disco ball would be included in Unicode 14.0, the international standard for displaying written words and symbols digitally, people have been eagerly anticipating its arrival. On July 17th, also known as World Emoji Day, it was officially announced that it would be included in Unicode 14.0. Developers began incorporating the package into their operating systems in September of 2021, complete with a disco ball.

Ibiza-based dance party Glitterbox started a petition for the emoji to include a disco ball back in 2019. Almost 10,000 signatures were collected as a result of this campaign.
