Apple introduced a new training program on Wednesday aimed at IT workers who want to learn how to support and manage Apple equipment. There are two courses in the Apple Professional Training program. There’s also Apple Deployment and Management and Apple Device Support. Training.apple.com offers both courses right now.
The courses can be taken at your own convenience, at your own pace, and at no cost. To become certified after completing the course, you will need to pay $149 for each class’s examination fee. You can use the digital badges you earn by passing an example on your résumé or in job applications, which are offered by Apple.
In the Apple Device Assistance course, you will learn how to provide support for the iPhone, Mac, and iPad using a variety of tools, services, and best practices. This course is 14 hours long.
The Apple Deployment and Management course offers 13 hours of material before the exam and teaches students how to configure, administer, and protect Apple devices.
For those who are interested in earning an Apple Certified IT Professional badge, the company has partnered up with local community schools and universities to provide preparation seminars. Scholarships will be available to students who are interested in participating in the collaborations and paying for their exam fees.
