Apple’s iOS 16 will include a new feature that will make it easier for iPhone users to distinguish between spam and valuable texts. The tech giant has worked on the SMS filters and added 12 additional spam filters. Specifically for iPhone users in India, this upgrade has been made available.

There will be 12 sub-categories, according to a study, including bill payment, finance, government services, network providers, healthcare, e-commerce orders, weather, and warnings for credit or debit cards. Transactions and promotions will be included in the new app. Additionally, users will be able to quickly and easily add train or cinema tickets to their Apple Wallet or calendars right from their message inbox.

Apple has packed a lot of new functionality into this software update, which should be available to everyone in September. As a result of the numerous changes made to the lock screen widgets, notifications, and other areas, iOS 16 is expected to be a major revamp. 15 minutes after sending an iMessage, users can go back and make changes to what they’ve written.

The beta version of iOS 16 is now available, and the final public release is expected in September, along with the debut of the iPhone 14 series, the next generation of Apple’s flagship smartphone.
